My journey began at home, raising my own children. During their childhood, I experienced the other side of the industry first-hand when I hired a nanny to support our family. I understood then the vulnerability of opening your home to someone else and the deep trust required to let another person care for your world.

The Professional Pivot

Once my children were grown, I transitioned into a career as a professional nanny. I brought with me the empathy of a mother and the wisdom of experience, offering families the kind of guidance and support I once sought myself. However, as I navigated these roles, I began to see the common friction points in this industry.

Navigating a Personal-Professional Relationship

The nanny-family dynamic is one of the most complex professional relationships that exists. It is highly personal, deeply emotional, and often lacks the structure found in traditional business environments. I noticed that without clear systems, both parties—the nanny and the family—can feel overwhelmed or misunderstood, even when intentions are good.

The Birth of The Nannyist Method

I saw a better way. I realized that for a nanny to truly thrive, they shouldn't work "below" an employer, but in a true partnership with them. This inspired The Nannyist Method.

My mission is to help nannies build a "self-made business" within their careers. While we cover the essential fundamentals—from newborn care to daily operations—the core of my method is teaching nannies how to:
